Crafting Your Legacy

We take immense pride in each piece of furniture we create. Every item is handcrafted and professionally finished by our skilled team, using solid wood that is carefully selected for its natural beauty, including distressed and reclaimed wood for a rustic charm.

Given the handmade and hand-finished nature of our products, variations and imperfections in the wood are to be expected and celebrated! Just as each tree is unique, every piece of furniture we craft is one-of-a-kind, made with the care and craftsmanship that defines our work.

Before placing an order, please review our cosmetic standards below to better understand what makes our furniture unique.

NOTE: By placing an order with us, you agree that you understand and accept the conditions of these cosmetic standards.

Wood & Stain Variations

Each piece of furniture we create will feature its own unique grain pattern, and slight color variations are a natural result of the wood’s grain. We cannot guarantee that the stain will match previous tables or photos you've seen. Wood has its own character, and each piece accepts stain differently. We will apply the stain or paint color you request, but please understand that it may vary slightly from the table or image you had in mind. This is completely normal, and we cannot rework the stain to achieve an exact match.

Matching Stain Colors

We do not match stain colors based on photos. The only way to ensure a custom stain color is if you provide the stain and specify the wood type you'd like us to use. Wood types absorb stain differently, and while we'll follow your instructions, we cannot rework the stain if it doesn't turn out exactly as you envisioned. Every piece of wood is unique, and slight color variations are part of the natural beauty of solid wood.

Sanding & Stain Colors

The level of sanding will influence the final color of your table. A finer finish results in a lighter stain because the sanding process closes the wood’s pores, reducing the amount of stain the wood can absorb. A more distressed finish keeps the pores open, allowing the stain to penetrate deeper and appear darker. If you’re ordering a finely finished table based on a photo of a heavily distressed table, please note that the stain will look different on your less distressed table.

General Variations in Furniture

As with all handcrafted, solid wood furniture, you can expect unique features such as open knots, visible brush strokes, micro-imperfections, textural variations in the hand-brushed finish, distress marks, exposed screws, wood filler marks, joint lines, and natural cracks or splits. Our furniture may vary by up to 1” in measurements due to its custom nature. If you don’t appreciate these natural imperfections, handcrafted furniture may not be the right choice for you.

Solid wood will naturally expand and contract due to changes in temperature and humidity, which means gaps may appear between the boards over time. This movement enhances the beauty of solid wood furniture and does not affect its structural integrity. These gaps are not considered defects.

For those who prefer a seamless table top without gaps, we recommend our jointed top option, which minimizes cracks and spaces between boards while still allowing for natural expansion and contraction. However, you’ll still see the unique open knots on jointed table tops, as we don’t offer machine-manufactured perfection—each piece is unique, crafted to your specifications.

We embrace the beauty of handcrafted furniture and celebrate the individuality of each piece we create. We hope you’ll appreciate the authenticity and craftsmanship of your custom piece just as much as we do.

Lead Times

With every order, we provide an estimated lead time. Please note that lead times are purely estimates. Given the custom nature of our work and the volume of orders in our queue, we cannot guarantee an exact delivery date. While we often complete orders ahead of schedule, unforeseen production delays may occasionally occur.

If you’re hoping to receive your table by a specific date (such as for a holiday or special occasion), please understand that we cannot guarantee the exact timing. We will always do our best to accommodate your needs, but the quality of your furniture is our priority. We’d rather deliver a high-quality piece a few weeks later than compromise on craftsmanship.

Please review the following information carefully before placing your order.

Product Variability:

Our dining tables and chairs are custom-made to order, which means each piece is unique and may differ from the photos shown on our website. Variations in the wood’s grain pattern, color, and texture are natural and expected, as these are characteristics of the material itself. The size and appearance of the grain will vary from one piece to another, making each dining set distinct.

Understanding Customization:

By placing an order, you agree to accept that your finished piece will not match the images exactly. Each item is crafted individually, ensuring a one-of-a-kind product. While we uphold high standards of quality and craftsmanship, some differences from the product images will occur.

If you have any questions about our customization process or need further information, please contact us before completing your order.

Thank you for your understanding and for choosing our custom dining solutions.
